Trekking (The Peaks) 101cm x 101cm Not framed

My inspiration for this landscape contemporary painting - seeing my brother so excited preparing for and trekking and exploring the amazing wild country sides with nothing but a backpack, hiking boots, map and the wide open spaces. Overcoming the peaks and valleys and the changing weather conditions. 
At 70 years old, he is an inspiration - training, walking and preparing for these adventures and it makes me realise that life can begin whenever we allow it to.
