Inspired by Lover’s Walk in Varenna Italy, an absolutely stunning village on Lake Como. Whilst travelling around I would make quick sketches in a small notebook so I could remember places and work on them later.
Now I am starting to enlarge these sketches onto a prepared canvas They are still hand drawn and hand painted with watercolours, however now this work is on a larger scale with a wire across the back to hang.
