This painting was inspired by my yearning for the sound of the sea and the white gorgeous foaming waves. The fresh sea air and cool breeze seems to renew ones spirit! Somehow there always seems to be something looking out for me, a higher power, a lighthouse perhaps! Does a lighthouse battle against the relentless pounding of the sea and winds or does it extend a warm gentle guiding light to help you through? I like to think the latter. May you always find a gentle soul to hold you fast.
