During the painting of this work I somehow felt an inner strength growing with each layer. My life had had its footing pulled out from under it - so I concentrated on a strength that I knew was inside me, keep moving forward, keep being kind, and ‘dig deep’ as my Dad would say, ‘you have it in you’.
This work made me feel quite grounded in an ever changing world. It has a solid hue about it, a renewed and peaceful future.
May it bring you reassurance and inner strength.
